Xander Inspired Buffy Fan Design Concept

These “You’re Extraordinary Crayon Love’in” design concepts are inspired by the nostalgic association Buffy the Vampire Slayer fans hold for the character of Xander Harris and the connection they have to actor. Nicholas Brendon who played the iconic role in the TV series continued after it’s finale to co-write several of the Buffy comic books. Not only have many fans had the opportunity to meet and hug him in person attending comic cons or his own Meet and Greet events, but also online via Facebook live and his online hang-outs! Nicky is always happy to oblige his fans whether autographing mementos, smiling for Selfies, sporting an eyepatch, or even carrying a yellow crayon. He enjoys connecting and entertaining in addition to acting and prone to start singing songs from Buffy’s groundbreaking musical episode “Once More, With Feeling.” (and will also break out into any random song whenever the mood strikes!). He’s also more than happy to oblige fan requests for his rendition of The Snoopy Dance as performed on the show (knee injury notwithstanding), provide a sympathetic ear when needed, and do what he can to try to make at least one person smile each day. With a fanbase that still growing nearly 20 years after filming ended, Nicky’s connection to his fans, his love for the show, and his appreciation of the opportunity to portray the role of Xander has only grown stronger. Because of his involvement in the show, he’s been privileged to meet with so many fans and had heard from so many that the show and his character, as well as his openness on depression, helps individuals overcome their own personal demons and survive the Hellmouth. This design concept offers a way to nurture and celebrate the relationship and what it represents to Nicky and so many others. The actor known throughout the world as the one and only Xander, in collaboration with his girlfriend, Sarah Allison (design and product creator), use “key” iconic elements and themes to continue his legacy’s message of hope and love.
